Enjoy an outdoor summer day of Jazz,
Art and Crafts in
Lakefield July 7, 2012
The 14th annual Lakefield Jazz Art Craft Festival
invites you, your friends and family to come to a breezy day of outdoor summer
living July 7 beside Lakefield's scenic Otonabee River to enjoy a wide
variety of Jazz music, colourful works for sale by artisans and crafters, plus interesting foods and ice cold beverages.
Arts and crafts exhibits
open at 10:00 a.m., musicians will be performing from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Be prepared to view and buy some creative works
by about 24+ artisans and crafters who will be attending their booths offering
paintings, jewellery, furniture, carvings, weaving for sale.
There's also a dance pavilion next to the bandstand -
organizers know from past years that you'll be "in the mood" as the rhythmic
sounds of this year's performers get you up and moving through the day.

and the village.

DIRECTIONS: (click on MAP
TO THE FESTIVAL) Lakefield is north of Peterborough, an hour and 40 minute
driving time from Toronto's Yonge St. and the 401. Take 401 East to 115 north,
and just north of Peterborough continue east onto Hwy #7. Proceed to Hwy #28 formerly 134 and go north.
Go north until you reach Strickland Street and head into Lakefield.
At the stop turn right and then Left just before Lakeland restraunt.
This will be posted as the Jazz Fest parking area.
Parking lot and nearby streets offer limited parking
